Steam wont download or update on my pc

I am someone who is fortunate enough that i control what Internet I have in my house, and therefore go for something that could download most games in hours, so a staggered update it no hassle to me.

I want to know why it always picks times that I don't have this thing ever open. I shut off the PC at night, and turn it on Clearly, it's not based on my usage patterns--or even the PC being turned on and logged into Steam patterns.

It's like it takes zero interest into when I am actually ever logged in, and if I miss a few days between logins life sometimes prevents it , I am sometimes walloped with a bunch of updates unless I remembered to set the do not auto update flag.

I just had this problem. At this right moment. If you encounter the Steam DLC not installing issue during the downloading process, you can delete it first and then follow the steps below to reinstall DLC properly. Launch your Steam client, and then go to the Library tab and select the game that you want to install DLC.

Scroll down and click on Manage my DLC at the left side of the screen. In the pop-up window, tick the checkbox of Enabled under the DLC that you want to install. It is very simple to operate. For that:. Launch your Steam client, and then click on the Steam at the upper left corner and select Exit. Then you can try installing DLC again. If the above step fails to work, you can select Change Account from the upper left corner and select Logout to log out Steam client.
